Where Can I Find Games At

So you ask yourself, where can I find games at? Well, let me tell you a little history about video games first. Video games involve user interaction with an interface to generate visible feedback on a video game console or computer.

Video in the phrase (new video games) is traditionally known as a raster display platform. The devices used to play video games for example, computers and Playstation game consoles, are known as platforms. The early years of video games consisted of basic games that used electronic interactive devices with different display formats.

The first patent for a video game device was applied for back in 1947. There were also other games developed from 1951 to 1961 and of course, up to the present. Computer Space, developed by Ted Dabney and Nolan Bushnell, was the first coin operated computer game commercially sold in 1971. The arcade version of Atari’s Pong was introduced in 1972 and the home version was sold in 1975. The great success of Pong led other companies to develop many Pong clones and their own consoles and systems. This is what spawned the computer game industry that flourished and has since become a multi-billion dollar yearly business.

There are many video game platforms that combined, literally have thousands of games to play.

Here is a list of video game platforms that you may be familiar with:

– 3DO – Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP – Apple – Nintendo Game Boy Color – Atari – Nintendo GameCube – Colecovision – Nintendo NES – Commodore – Nintendo Wii – Computer (same as PC) – PC (same as Computer) – Intellivision – Sega CD – Microsoft Xbox – Sega Dreamcast – Microsoft Xbox 360 – Sega Game Gear – Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite – Sega Genesis – NeoGeo Pocket Color – Sega Master – Nintendo, Super – Sega Pico – Nintendo 64 – Sega Saturn – Nintendo DS – Sony PlayStation – Nintendo DS Lite – Sony PlayStation 2 – Nintendo Game Boy – Sony PlayStation 3 – Nintendo Game Boy Advance – Sony PSP

That is quite a list, but we may have missed a few.

There are so many games that we will not list them here. You should be able to find any game you like by doing a search on Google or numerous other game sites using different keywords. Here are a few to get started:

– video games – free video games – new video games – wholesale video games – cheap video games – play free video games – free online video games – online video games

There are quite a few online video game sites. Again, you will just have to do a search. If you were to ask me that big question again, Where Can I Find Games At? I would tell you in one simple word (Everywhere!).

The Nintendo Wii console is still after nearly two years the most popular-selling gaming console on the market. Everyone loves to play – it appeals not just to serious gamers but the a bigger segment of the general public, so the Wii console has become a favorite.

Some of the features that are making the Wii console a favorite are the ease of use, the variety of games, and its online capabilities. Here’s a quick description of some of the key features.

The “WiiMote” controller. The controller for the Wii is the key to play for this console. The controller is like a stick that can be waved, poked, and jabbed at the screen to make your character move on the screen. This remote makes games easy to play even for the youngest or oldest players.

The unique nunchuk controller. Along with the WiiMote, an additional plug-in controller is the nunchuk, which adds a dimension of control over action on the screen. Certain games use the nunchuk to expand the range of motion, for characters.

Wii is fun for all ages. The games that are available for Wii include games for young kids like Mario Party 8, all the way up to games that appeal to teen and adult gamers. While hard-core gamers argue that the Wii doesn’t have graphics to match other game consoles, Nintendo has made a bet that’s paying off, that there are plenty of players out there who just want to have fun!

Access tons of online features and game downloads. There are multiple Wii channels where games can use Wii points to purchase and download games, some of them old Nintendo classics like Super Mario, and other new games that are part of their new service WiiWare.

It’s affordable. One key difference about the Wii console is that it costs less than other game platforms. There are plenty of places to buy at great prices, including retail stores and online.
