Georges St Pierre will Roll Through Dan hardy at UFC 111

Every mixed martial arts fighter has a chance of defeating George St. Pierre in the UFC and I would give Dan Hardy a very, very, very slim chance of winning this title UFC welterweight fight.

The Outlaw” Hardy has great striking and power behind but is in reality just a backroom bar brawler with little or no technical skills. Though Hardy has good hands he has not been able to knockout anyone of real value since fighting in the UFC. He went the distance with both Marcus Davis and Mike Swick which is good but for a guy that is supposedly a great striker he should be putting them away to deserve a title shot against GSP.

He was the sports betting underdog in both these fights, however, he was not able to down either fighter. Hardy is a stand up fighter as his wrestling skills are deeply lacking and GSP will be able to easily dominate him by shooting in and taking him down.

Hardy does not have any wrestling in his background and will not be able to avoid the takedowns attempts by St Pierre who has beaten world class wrestlers at their own game like Jon Fitch, Matt Hughes or Josh Koscheck.

If this fight goes to the ground, it will be game over for Hardy and over very quickly. B.J. Penn and Matt Serra are both great grapplers, however, when they faced off against GSP neither could get up from under him and both MMA fighters were punished on the ground. Hardy just does not have the grappling ability to escape St. Pierre`s ground and pound.

Let us be honest, Dan Hardy really should not be in the UFC octagon facing GSP who has a proven record against the best in the welterweight division.

UFC Sports Betting wise St. Pierre has matured as a fighter in the last two and one half years and will not make the same mistake he made with Matt Serra. If you are a sports bettor and have$715 to lay down just to make $100 why not. Otherwise there are much better UFC 111 bets to make on the night
